Meet JoJo!
My name is JOJO and I’m a boy! My mom tells me that I am the reason the mobile petting zoo started! I was adopted from Muddy Boots Farm. I am a mini horse, NOT A PONY. Sometimes my mom will dress me up as a unicorn for little girls. I feel like I look silly, but I love putting smiles on their faces! I am 8 years old and fully grown. My best friend is waffles the donkey, although he does drive me crazy sometimes. I love carrots and apples!
Please remind your loved ones the golden rule with horses no matter the size, NEVER WALK/RUN BEHIND A HORSE. It scares us and sometimes we get spooked and kick, with no intentions of hurting anyone!
Meet Stanley!
My name is Stanley (aka Stan the man or Stan the handsome man) and I am a mini zebu cow — although my mom says I am not that mini anymore! I was born in 2023 at muddy boots farm. My mommy bottle fed me, so now I am always attached to her hip and I am definitely her favorite, but don’t tell the others. I have a very ruff tongue and kids often think I’m biting at them, but I promise I’m not! Fun fact: I only have bottom teeth and no top teeth! I love coming to events and getting carrots and pets!
Meet Marjorie!
Hi! My name is Marjorie (aka Marge). My mom said that I got my name from her grandma. I am large and definitely in charge. I was born in February 2023 , also at muddy boots farm and I am a Nigerian dwarf goat! I was a bottle baby too and my mommy used to put me in a diaper and onesie and take me everywhere! My mommy says I am bad because I don’t like to stay in pins at events. I know how to jump out of them, so I usually just run around and do my own thing. I am disbudded, meaning I don’t have horns. My mom said she had to get them removed because she didn’t want me to headbutt any kids, but do you think something as cute as me would do such a thing? Also, if you get up from your seat around me, I’ll probably take it! Fun fact: I also have 4 stomachs, isn’t that cool?! I am always eating something.
Meet Maggie!
My name is Maggie (aka Maggie moooo, maggie marie, or maggie bad goat). I was born in February 2024. I am a Nigerian dwarf goat. I was a bottle baby too from muddy boots farm and got to wear diapers and onesies and sleep in the bed with my mommy! You’ll usually seeing me running around and doing my own thing at events, but I won’t run off because I am a momma’s girl. Sometime Marge and I will get along, but most the time we like to headbutt each other and not listen. Don’t leave your door open when I am there because I will go inside and my first stop will be the kitchen! One time I went missing at an event and guess where they found me? In the birthday girls’ room with her and all her friends, eating chips!
Meet Louie!
My name is Louie (aka Lou man). I was born in March 2024. I am a babydoll sheep. I was a bottle baby from a farm out in Newberry. I grew up with Maggie and slept in the bed with her and mom with a diaper on too! I used to walk around at events with Maggie, but I started to headbutt children, and my mom thought that was probably not best for business. I still try to headbutt sometimes! I am very verbal at events and if somebody isn’t paying attention to me or feeding me, I will baaa until I get my way. My mom constantly tells me that I look homeless, and I should do better with letting her give me a bath, but I like to roll in the dirt right after she does. I get sheered in the springtime, usually at the end of March!
Meet Donald & Daisy!
Our names are Donald and Daisy. Donald is the one that has the fluffy hair on the top of his head. We are called Ancona ducks. Did you know that to the best way to tell a male from a female duck is by their tales. If the tail feathers turn up at the end, they are males (it is called drake curl), and a female’s tail is straight. We absolutely love food and will eat it out of your hands. We are kind of fast and that sometimes scares people, but we promise we mean no harm. We have round beaks unlike chickens so our pecks are softer. We love the kiddie swimming pool that our mommy has at home for us. Ducks absolutely love water and making it dirty!
