Frequently Asked Questions

1.) What exactly is a mobile petting zoo?

A mobile petting zoo is a traveling animal experience that comes to your location-whether it is a backyard, school, corporate event, fair, or party. We bring a variety of friendly animals for hands-on experience.

2.) What types of events do you service?

Honestly, ANYTHING! We cater to birthday parties, school programs, daycare visits, corporate events, festivals, church functions, community days, family fun days and so much more.

3.) Do you require a deposit and how much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the package you chose (small, medium or large) duration of the visit, travel distance, and additional add-ons (like pony rides or reptile package. Contact us for a quote by filling out the form. YES, we require a $50 deposit to save your date. The remaining balance is due typically on or on the day before the event.

4.) How much space do you need?

A flat, grassy (preferably) area of at least 20x20 feet is ideal. We can adjust setups for smaller or larger spaces. For mini horse rides we require a straight, flat path to complete the rides on. We would absolutely love if you already have a tent set up if there is no shade around.

5.) What happens when it rains?

We can operate in LIGHT rain, but for safety and animal welfare, severe weather may require rescheduling. If you are unable to reschedule and end up canceling the event the $50 deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE. But if you have already paid that rest of the balance, that can be refunded.

6.) Can the zoo set up indoors?

Sometimes, YES for farm animals! Always yes for reptile package! We can set up in gymnasiums or large halls with tarps or protective flooring but that is only with the SMALL farm package (minus the goat) or reptile package.

7.) Are the animals safe for children? Do they bite? Are they up to date on vaccinations?

Absolutely. Our animals are hand-raised, socialized, and accustomed to being around people. If we have a new animal that is a first timer, we will let you know, YES, all animals CAN bite unfortunately. They don’t do it out of being mean. It is usually because they think you have food in your hands. Please make sure to educate the children on not sticking their fingers close or into any animal’s mouth, especially the pig.
